After over a decade of experience working for the Baltimore County, Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office, Attorney Peter McDowell opened his private law firm in 2001, more than 20 years ago. While working as a State's Attorney Peter was a recipient of the Governor's Citation.

For the last 20+ years Attorney McDowell and his law firm associates have enjoyed success in handling serious personal injury cases involving automobile accidents and nursing home cases. In addition, the firm has won numerous cases involving serious criminal charges.

Based on Mr. McDowell’s 30+ years of extensive litigation experience and success, a significant number of his cases are referred to him by other attorneys.

Attorney McDowell handles cases that have been appealed, which distinguishes him from many other trial lawyers. He also handles cases from the start of claim through the appeals process and back to the trial court.  This brings a unique aspect to any trial lawyer in positioning a case for its best possible outcome.  Attorney McDowell has made law five times in Maryland’s highest court, the Maryland Courts of Appeal.  He never stops fighting for his clients.
