Criminal Trial Experience: Assistant States Attorney for 10 years in Baltimore County. Litigated over 60 jury trials and at least one thousand court trials. Prosecuted everything from DWI to Murder.  Successfully defended individuals before both Federal and State juries.
Titles: Special Prosecutor to the Regional Auto Theft Task Force for over 5 years.  During my tenure, auto theft dropped 50%.
Civil Trial Experience: Court and Jury trials in the State and Federal courts - Personal Injury, Professional Malpractice, False Arrests, Family Law, Breach of Contract, Collection, Insurance Fraud, and Bankruptcy.  Use latest technology in court, particularly Power Point Presentations.
Appellate Experience: U.S. District Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and Maryland Court of Appeal.
Professional Citations: Governor's Citation for Outstanding Prosecution in the area of Automobile Theft.

Teaching: Lectured (using Power Point) police around Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic states on investigating and prosecuting crime; guest speaker to the University of Maryland School of Law Trial Advocacy class.
Seminars: Attended MICPEL's 9 day Trial Seminar as well as numerous other seminars on trial litigation, both criminal and civil.
Education: Juris Doctorate from University of Baltimore Law, 1990.  Editor of Recent Developments for Law Forum.  American Jurisprudence Award for legal research and writing, 1987.  President of Towson University Rugby Football Club.  Studied law at Kings College, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, 1988.
Bachelor of Science in English with concentration in Writing from Towson University, 1985.  President of Towson Rugby Football Club, Vice-President of Outdoors Adventures' Unlimited.
